Flight Training Campus Located At The Heart Of The General Aviation

ActivePILOT flight training campus is on the west side of the Van Nuys Airport field, located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, Van Nuys Airport (VNY) which ranks as one of the world’s busiest general aviation airports. Dedicated to noncommercial air travel, VNY had over 220,000 takeoffs and landings in 2016. VNY has two parallel runways including one 8,000 feet in length and equipped with full instrument landing, as well as a training runway 4,000 feet in length.

ActivePILOT flight training campus encompasses the main terminal with direct access to the ramp area and general aviation aircraft parking, a restaurant, a pilot shop, and several study rooms and lecture halls to accommodate its clients and students.

Lecture Hall

ActivePILOT lecture hall is located on the second floor of the terminal which is a shared spaced used for seminars and conferences. The room is designed to accommodate up to 50 people and offers the perfect spot for large workshops and group project meetings, or just personal space to study when not in use for lectures.

Classrooms

Our state-of-the-art facility is purposefully designed to accommodate up to 10 students, making it the perfect environment for group settings, fostering collaboration and camaraderie among aviation enthusiasts.

Study Cubes

ActivePILOT has several study rooms throughout the campus, with some located at the main office on the second floor and others at the first floor of the terminal. These smaller study cubes are designed for one-on-one lectures or a personal space for students to study.

Simulator Room

A cutting-edge simulator room, where the boundaries between reality and simulation blur, taking flight training to unprecedented heights. Step into our advanced facility equipped with a state-of-the-art full-motion flight simulator that promises an exhilarating and immersive aviation experience like no other.
