Active Pilot's Hands-On Discovery Flight

This exciting introductory flight puts you in the pilot’s seat, giving you the opportunity to take control of the aircraft under the guidance of a certified flight instructor.

We start with a thorough but brief ground lesson where you'll learn the basics of how airplanes fly, how the controls work, and what to expect during your flight. Then, you'll head out to the aircraft for a full pre-flight inspection and walkaround—just like real pilots do.

Once airborne, you won’t just be along for the ride. With your instructor beside you, you’ll take the controls and fly the plane yourself. You'll practice straight-and-level flight, turns, climbs, and descents—all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Los Angeles skyline, coastline, and mountains from thousands of feet in the air.
